Hi everybody, I'm looking for new shoes now and I've got a question, what kind of shoes you are using? Actually I'm using my indoor football shoes. It is not bad, but after I did 7 km run last Monday My right foot still hurts. I know that in Freeletics you don't need such long distances, therefore I don't want to buy running shoes, I suppose they also would not like Burpees I found some shoes seems to be suitable for Freeletics: http://www.newbalancestore.cz/Pansk...alance-MT10SV.aspx?campaign=heurekask&size=42 http://www.newbalancestore.cz/Panska-obuv/Running/Prirozeny-beh/New-Balance-MINIMUS-ZERO-ROAD http://www.botyobleceni.cz/boty-panske-reebok/8850-r-crossfit-endurnce-4051042712730.html http://www.exisport.com/katalog/product ... RONXCHALK/ What do you think about these alternatives? Which shoes do you use?
These shoes you gave seem to be good and suitable to freeletcs, but if you're interested in something less expensive, (i'm not sure if this brand is available in your country, but in Poland it's very poular) here you have the brand called Kipsta available in Decathlon. I've been using shoes made by Kipsta for about 5 years and i never had any problems with them. At the moment i've got these ones http://www.decathlon.co.uk/agility-500- ... 77482.html and they're very comfortable and what's the most important suitable to freeletics workouts in every conditions (i've trained even on the ground covered by snow)
I use fivefingers the bikila model. Very flexible, so good for burpees and also for running Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Now I'm also using futsal shoes, but as I wrote before I feel pain in my foot after long run, therefore would like something, what is also suitable for running. But thanks for you comment. Also in Slovakia there is no Decathlon.
I wanted to buy five-fingers Adidas, but than I realized that it is hard to get socks during the winter.
So yesterday I bought shoes http://www.inov-8.com/New/Global/Pr...est-Black-Red-Lime.html?L=26&A=Fitness&G=Male
Just to bounce on this topic. Outside I use a few years old pairs of ASICS running shoes. But most workout I perform indoor, and personally bare feet works best for me. You just need to be careful when doing your first burpees not to crash your toes into the ground... But I guess pain is a good motivator to learn the proper technique!
Months ago when I decided to start running, I did not want to spend a whole lot of money on shoes, I might not be using for a long time (which I actually was right, because I stopped running after a couple of weeks). I chose Reeboks which I am using now for my Freeletics workouts as well - they usually sell for about 50-60 € on eBay, I got'em for even less than 40 €, if I am not mistaken:
Hi Chausj, Any feedback on those Inov8 Bare XF-210 shoes? Are they any good? pros vs cons? what about the sizing? I was browsing the internet and I got interested in some New Balance MX20v3 and MT10v2 and also those Inov8 Bare XF-210 shoes you bought. Thanks! Ricardo
Hi Ricardo! I love my shoes. Very light and comfortable. Regarding sizing, like all sport shoes I had to pick up little bigger ones 43 instead of 42,5. So I actually can't say bad word.
Hi Chaus, thanks! I am glad you have nothing bad to say about them! Yesterday, I bought online the same shoes but in black color. I also went for half a size bigger. In regular shoes I am 42 so I bought 42.5. This is the first time I have bought shoes online and I have never used Inov-8 brand before. Also, there is so much differences regarding sizes that I didn't know what to buy. I still have to wait for the shoes to arrive! Thanks again, Ricardo
The shoes are indeed comfortable and very light. I am glad I went with half a size bigger. They are minimalist so there is no cushioning, but I already knew that. I still haven't tried them for running. Ricardo
