Gaining muscle mass and weight with Freeletics (ectomorphs)

    I am 1.74m tall and I weight 57kg. My goal with FL is to gain muscle mass and thus gain weight (of course also being healthy, agile, strong, etc.) Most people start working out to lose weight which is not my case. In fact, I tend to lose weight rather easily and it is hard to gain it back.

    I bought the strength coach and I entered these data in the training profile. I am just starting, I am in my third week. Today I was wondering, wouldn't the coach get confused if I in fact start gaining weight (due to muscle mass gain)? Does the coach uses some Body Mass Index target?

    Not that I know of - besides the Strength coach is designed to build up strength and therefore weight (strength comes with muscles).
